Coachella Music and Arts Festival

The Stagecoach Festival is an outdoor country music festival located at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. The festival is produced by Goldenvoice and features various artists from across the country western genre, including folk, mainstream country, bluegrass, roots rock, and alternative country. Southwest Arts Festival

In its 31st year, the Southwest Arts Festival is one of the oldest and largest art festivals in Southern California, welcoming over 280 featured artists from across the North America. The festival showcases art from many disciplines, including traditional, contemporary and abstract works of fine art, as well as pottery, glass, jewelry, metal works, painting, photography, sculpture and textile. The Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival

The Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival, now in its 71tst year, focuses on providing amazing entertainment and affordable fun. The fair features exciting ground acts such as juggling, acrobatics, and trampoline, delicious Fair food, and an exciting concert line-up. Indio Powwow

The Cabazon Band of Mission Indians keeps cultural tradition alive by holding annual powwows. The Indio Powwow takes place on the Cabazon Indian Reservation located in Indio, Califronia. Included in the celebration are Native American dance competitions for contestants of all ages, bird singing, drum contests and peon games. Indio International Tamale Festival

It all started in 1992 with an idea by Dave Hernandez, a member of the Downtown Indio Merchants Association. The rich heritage of the tamale, consistent community support and hard working tamale makers have created the festival’s tremendous success.
